Intro
Picture this, a mother is in a convenience store pushing a typical cart with her child, a 3 year old boy, with his feet dangling from those two feet holes usualy found on those carts. They pass mounds of candy, shinny toys, things that would make any "normal" child throw a tantrum to make their parents give in. But not this boy sees those things and does not budge. To him those things are not important. He prefers the time spent with his mother than those shinny things. He is a different kind of boy. He sees life a little bit differently. Although it all may seam surreal, unfortunately that child's views however idealistic they seemed, singled him out in every situation in life. He grew up to be me this 20 something year old African-American man who never see's thing in black and white but see's the world in shades of gray. It never made me popular. I have had many friends but none truly knew me. But all in all it made me a better person, far more secure in myself and able to laugh at my life's journey thus far. I've gleaned little ruby's of wisdom from various people, places and things and hopefully will be able to share them with you.
